Pilot project funded: U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Visual Loss (CPTVL)

Our pilot project, “EchoSee: an assistive technology platform for simulating human echolocation to assist those who are blind or severely visually impaired with safe and independent navigation,” has been funded from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Visual Loss (CPTVL). Our team consists of Prof. Bell (PI), Prof. Kyle Rector (Co-PI), and Prof. Mark E. Wilkinson (Co-PI). We are very grateful for the CPTVL’s support!
